Earth Day celebrated with creativity at „Maria Montessori”
Planting, posters, models and objects made from recyclable materials: how our students in Constanța celebrated Earth Day.
Students of the Inclusive Education Center „Maria Montessori” enthusiastically celebrated Earth Day through a series of engaging and creative activities from the Erasmus+ project SAVE the Earth with ARTS. The activities were designed to raise environmental awareness while encouraging artistic expression and teamwork.
The students participated in planting activities, learning about the importance of green spaces and caring for nature. They also created posters and awareness campaigns highlighting environmental protection messages, using colours and symbols to express their ideas. Additionally, they designed and built models and crafts, demonstrating creativity and imagination.
A special focus was placed on sustainability, as students created various objects from recyclable materials, transforming waste into meaningful and artistic items. Through these hands-on experiences, students not only developed practical skills but also deepened their understanding of environmental responsibility.
